Domaine Croix de Juillet 2003 RED France

This small parcel from Domaine Croix de Juillet's oldest Syrah vines tasted so good the Douillach family 'saved' it from the blend and gave it a l-o-n-g luxury oak finish. It was so powerful (Decanter report "excellent" wines made in Saint-Chinian in 2003's heatwave) they cellared it ... for release when perfectly mellow. You'll love its velvety depth of flavour! Brimful of ripe black fruits with trademark Saint-Chinian elegance this super cuvee makes a wonderful dinner party red. Delicious!
