Winemaker Ross Shepherd has taken pure Cabernet grapes from both McLaren Vale cooler Clare Valley and the Padthaway region ... complementing the rich fruit with a touch of oak-ageing. Lovely dense red boasting a concentrated blackcurrant leafy mint nose and lipsmacking mouthfuls of ripe chocolaty cassis flavours ... well structured with rounded chewy tannins.
